Since 1970 we have been developing and manufacturing products made of the high quality material Elastopal at our Schwarzheide location. Our company will be your partner during all phases of a project - from planning and production up to and including reliable logistics.
Puralis' product range includes wipers, scrapers, wiper rings, screens, cyclones, fenders and idle rollers, to mention but a few. However, apart from these standard products, we are prepared at any time to develop very specific customised product solutions.
We also manufacture products made of Vulkollan (registered trademark of Bayer AG) which runs under the internal name of Elastopal EN.

A summary of the puralis history
- 1957 Foundation of "Lemförder Kunststoff GmbH" (registered office of Dr. Reuter-group) Start of production
- 1961 Change of name into: "Elastomertechnik GmbH Lemförde"
- 1962 Change of name into: "Lemförder Kunststofftechnik GmbH"
- 1969 Change of name into: "Elastogran GmbH Lemförde"; joining of BASF-group
- 1974 A trial production for hot-hardening elastomers was set up in the applications department of "VEB Synthesewerk Schwarzheide"
- 1981 The test production of "VEB Synthesewerk Schwarzheide" has been changed into a full production department
- 1991/92 As part of the purchase of the former "VEB Synthesewerk Schwarzheide" by BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, the production of liquid elastomeres by "Elastogran GmbH Lemförde" has been moved to Schwarzheide
- 2000 As part of BASF's concentration on chemistry-focused areas of work the business sector of liquid elastomeres has been split off. Production, sales department and the trademark ELASTOPAL have been taken over by "puralis GmbH"

What is Elastopal?
Elastopal is a polyurethane elastomer, which can satisfy all your demands. Polyurethanes are formed as a result of poly-addition reactions, a merging and mixture of isocyanates with polyolene. The liquid reaction mixture is poured into a mould in which the polyurethane is formed, resulting in a solid elastomer part. Elastopal is a compact polyurethane and offers many qualities which are typical for such a universal material: its enormous structural solidity combined with its excellent elasticity make it durable, flexible and unique.
Elastopal is thus not only dimensionally stable, but, in addition, can cope with high dynamic stress.
What is Vulkollan?
Vulkollan is the oldest known polyurethane-elastomer and is made out of polyester-polyol and the di-isocyanide Desmodur 15®. Because of its excellent quality Volkollan is an interesting solution for many challenging applications.
